#109 Goodbye, Coffee... (Part 2)

I know what is missing when I stopped drinking coffee and beer (and gin and wine or booze of any kind). It is the habit and routine of having something to enjoy along with the book I'm holding in my hand. Sip by sip. Page by page.

Now I don't know what to do with my free hand as I flip through pages with the other. I miss the taste, that's for sure, but it's more than that. It's the action of cracking open a can of beer (or a few cans) or brewing my coffee to enjoy endlessly with the book. What can I do to replace that sacred action of beer can opening or coffee brewing?

It's just not the same with herbal tea. Yet, I will persist and soldier on.
