#104 Reading Knowledge Management (KM)

I have been researching about knowledge management (KM) and have added a few new and used books to my personal library. I'll be keeping myself busy this weekend (and the weeks ahead) pouring over pages on identifying individuals who possess deep smarts, filling knowledge gaps if they exist, techniques to transfer knowledge, understanding of APQC's KM program framework, and the step-by-step process of embedding an effective KM framework in an organization.

A few of the latest additions to my personal library; all on the subject of knowledge management.

I also buy used books quite a lot and one of them from the pile above is Deep Smarts: How to Cultivate and Transfer Enduring Business Wisdom, by Dorothy Leonard and Walter Swap, published by Harvard Business School Press. My favorite used books online bookseller is BetterWorldBooks.com.

What's new in my personal library:
  1. The Knowledge Manager's Handbook (Kogan Page)
  2. Deep Smarts (Harvard Business Review Press)
  3. Critical Knowledge Transfer (Harvard Business Review Press)
  4. The New Edge in Knowledge (APQC)
