I've gone on a hiatus for a few weeks. I was on a mission, you see, busy creating and trying new things. I've been baking, sketching, traveling, taking photographs, working on my Swedish... Focused. Here are some of the things I've created or did.

Feeling inspired and baked some choc-chip muffins, which I've never done before! Very pleased with the result.

Sketched the rooster farm, also what Mr. Bear and I affectionately called the "Chicken House". This was right in front of our villa in Ubud.

Created an instant film album with photos from our honeymoon in Ubud, Bali.

Created a self-portrait. I foresee many more coming!

Traveled for fun and experienced the situation at the Hong Kong International Airport.

Traveled for our long-awaited honeymoon in Ubud, Bali.

Traveled for work to Shanghai, China, and conducted a three-day training in Chinese Mandarin.

Traveled for fun to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Sketched a sleeping cat at the Book Street (and a few more of street vendor and motorcyclists).

I'm currently undertaking an online TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) course and am at 48% completion. I find it very useful as it presents me with valuable teaching concepts and I can apply them to my personal foreign language endeavors as well. I look forward to completing the TEFL course and receiving the certificate on or before my birthday.

Another personal project I'm thinking to embark on is the NaNoWriMo which I have been attempting for the longest time (let's say for about a decade) and I've never managed to complete it. Maybe 2019 will be different!
