#54 Borrowed Haiku: Lavender Lilacs

Photo by me, taken in the neighborhood of Huskvarna.

Lavender lilacs
Purple plumes of potpourri
Sachets of a breeze

One of the greatest blessings in life is to be surrounded by natural fragrances during this time of the year. Syren—or lilacs in English—are blooming everywhere. They look gloriously lush. Their fragrant scent clings on long after you walked past them. The air is fresh, cold and crisp.

Photo by me: Another variety of syren, also from the neighborhood.
