#23 Instant Love
After a visit last year in December to the National Museum of Singapore for the Polaroid exhibition, I have been thinking a lot about instant photography. It was then all in my head until my staycation last weekend. It was right there and then in my hotel room while I was pouring over my books (and beer) that I was inspired to take action. Buy that camera; buy the film, the small voice in my head said. And bought them I did. My heart literally did a happy little Snoopy dance after that.
|I bought the Fujifilm Instax Mini 50s (Source: Amazon.com). It's a mid-range camera, a step down from the Mini 70 but I'm happy with my decision. I have a mission for this little guy and that is to take one picture every day for my gratitude project. I'll be taking it along with me to Sweden in May and hopefully come back with an album full of Swedish love. I also bought a minimalist-looking album that will fit 288 pictures for the Swedish love personal project.|
I'm now waiting for my Fujifilm Instax Mini 50s (Piano Black) to arrive from Amazon.com, which should be anytime now. It comes with a bundled three-pack instax mini film (10 sheets per pack)—all for S$71.60 (US$53). I thank my lucky stars for the instant love!
