I am ready for 2018!

First of all, I would like to wish all my friends, family, and the wonderful readers of my blog, a very Happy New Year!

I'm ready to usher in the new year with renewed passion and MORE materials for my Swedish self-study. I've been quite busy visiting the bookshop and I love Akademibokhandeln. Here are some of the goodies that are now a part of my personal library. I wish I could cart the whole bookshop (and the Huskvarna Library) back home with me.

And lastly, just thought I'd share with you something I've created last night. I wanted to be more organized ("BUT, Alice, you're already so organized!"—that's what a lot of people kept telling me...). I sat down for three hours and played with Microsoft PowerPoint. I will make printouts of the Weekly Schedule so that I can write on them and will be sharing more on how I use them here.

Before I forget... I've also completed my Duolingo Swedish! All the lessons are currently "golden" and I must keep them that way. I'm 58% fluent according to Duolingo and apparently nobody will ever be 100% fluent, which I found out at this post. That's OK because I think it's a true reflection of the state of my Swedish proficiency. Follow all my Duolingo adventures here.
