It's also the day I restarted the whole thing about entering an unknown area (in this case Korean) where I don't understand what I read or hear; have no clue whatsoever.
For the new Korean adventure, I did a bit of research on Amazon.com for my self-study endeavor (I self-studied Italian too). I stumbled across Talk To Me In Korean (TTMIK) and decided to check them out on their website. I decided to buy from them a box set of 17 books and my purchase coincided with their 10% summer sale offer!

I also did the following:
- Borrowed from the public library in Singapore a copy of the Get Started in Korean Absolute Beginner Course.
- Signed up at Coursera for the First Step Korean course conducted by Yonsei University. (At this point I have not decided if I'd go for the verified certificate path...)
- Downloaded the 90 Minute Challenge from 90 Day Korean to fast-track the learning of characters.
- Watched the 16-episode Korean drama Descendants of the Sun with English subtitles. It's my very first K-drama and surprisingly good!
