A professional is a person who can do his best at a time when he doesn’t particularly feel like it. ― Alistair Cooke

For me, this quote not only applies to work, but also my personal life. There are indeed times when I just don’t feel like doing something (working out, studying my Italian or the Coursera courses, etc.). Sometimes I succumbed and failed miserably, but sometimes I did succeed by pressing on and getting it done and over with. However, that’s not professionalism and I intend to fix the problem. I will persevere, enjoy learning and have fun too! When the I-don’t-feel-like-doing-this hits me, I will visualize the outcome instead, and get on with it.
