Your Dreams Will Come True

"The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity. The fears are paper tigers. You can do anything you decide to do. You can act to change and control your life; and the procedure, the process is its own reward." Amelia Earhart

I can certainly relate to this because so much has happened in my life, the decisions I made—some were right, some turned out bad—but all in all, I am reaping the rewards today. All the good and the bad shape my life now, giving me the experience of only those who'd gone through the things they'd gone through would understand.

Today, work-wise, I received a great surprise and one that I'm very thankful for. Holding the letter in my hand, I still couldn't believe what I saw, but all that I've visualized came true. Seriously, think it and it will be yours—eventually. For me, it's today. I love my job, I love what I'm doing at work, and results were manifested. The reward arrived. I'm finally receiving the "number of digits" I wished to see and dreamed of in my paycheck.

The sea does not reward those who are too anxious, too greedy, or too impatient. One should lie empty, open, choiceless as a beach - waiting for a gift from the sea. Anne Morrow Lindbergh

Beautiful picture that. I went through life the unconventional way, achieving success the unconventional way and I'm proud of myself. I was anxious when I was younger and patience isn't exactly my virtue, but along the way I learned. I've done many stupid things, committed mistakes and failure didn't exclude me. What matters now is I just need to be better than I used to be.

Yesterday, I posted about sailing on, moving ahead and on (read here). I also talked about learning to see, overcoming and seeing opportunities even in difficult circumstances with fresh eyes (read here). And about a week ago, a tweet inspired me to "unwrap myself" because this life we're given is indeed a gift (read here). The point I'm driving at is there is hope in every situation; there's remedy in every mistake; and everything you dare to dream (but be careful of the negative stuff!) will come true.
