Alice Eats: Edelweiss Cafe, Armenian Street, Penang

There is this really nice and quaint cafe called Edelweiss tucked away in the quiet Armenian Street, very near Cheah Kongsi and Amelie Cafe. It is operated by a Swiss and his wife, and it is housed in a pre-war 1860's shophouse. I have been dying to go there for some time, and finally my wish came true when we (my colleagues and I) decided to go out to lunch and picked this place to dine. HURRAH!

Here's a collage of the cosy cafe. They're from my Facebook page and you can view each one in full frame here. Have fun!

Here's my lunch. The aglio e olio spaghetti has been localized a wee bit so this is a spicy dish and it's so good! The texture, the taste, everything was good. (My colleague Vivian also said that the pork belly she ordered was delicious.)

Try this, OK? It's a bit pricey at MYR26.90 but it's worth it.

Address: 38, Armenian Street, 10200, Georgetown, Penang 10300
Telephone: +604 261 8935

There are so many antique objects in the cafe and my iPhone was busy making pictures. I also love the books about Penang and Malaysia!
