The Mammoth Task Ahead: Completing My Reading Challenges

I counted: 26 books to be read by the end of December 2010. This translates to...
  • 13 books each month for November and December 2010
  • And, about half a book every day for 60 days

This is the "risky pile" because it is at risk of being abandoned should I fail to read them all

Even if I don't count the ones for R.I.P. V challenge that ends in October, the situation still looks pretty bleak. Other than taking them (the books) on one by one, I really don't know what else I can do apart from abandoning one or two of the reading challenges. I need to come up with a strategy to tackle this "problem" I got myself into. I'm thinking:
  1. Read in the morning at my office library
  2. ... and during lunch
  3. ... and in the evening after I return from work
  4. Just keep reading without posting any book reviews (that ought to speed things up a bit)
  5. Cut down on blogging (hey, something's got to be sacrificed, but I hope I don't have to do this because I've finally got back to my routine from adjusting to the new job I accepted more than three months ago)
  6. Cut back on social activities
  7. Stop reading other books that catches my fancy, or ignore my mood for the book I want to read at the moment
  8. Quit my job and marry a rich guy so that I don't have to work and can read all day long
    (YEAH, RIGHT!)

This are the challenges I'm most likely to complete by December 2010 with the exception of R.I.P. V challenge which ends in October, so R.I.P. needs to be settled first.

Well, as I've said in my Books I Read in 2010 post for September, I'm going to do my best and forget the rest!
