Teaser Tuesday: Scattershot

Scattershot: My Bipolar Family by David Lovelace is a book I saw and immediately bought at the Changi Airport in Singapore in March. This week's Teaser Tuesdays is taken from the book, and I'm breaking rules here (sorry!) because instead of the usual two-sentence post, I'm giving you the entire paragraph from page 141:

My family was a bit odd, that's all, not a problem. Cars were blown up, snakes lost in the libraries, boats sunk, iguanas left on curtains and children at gas stations. So what? We were eccentric and fun. We were madcap. My friends though it sounded fun and mostly it was, until our disease made it serious.

Note: I wrote a post about bipolar disorder last week, an illness that is of special interest to me.
