I spoke at the VMAC Executive PA Forum today!

The day has finally arrived for me to attend and speak at the Executive PA Forum organized by VMAC at Hotel Maya, Kuala Lumpur. I was approached by the organizer in early January to do a presentation on Executing Excellent Non Verbal and Verbal Communication Skills to Avoid Miscommunication and I was more than happy to do it. (More practice for public speaking. YAY!)

More about this soon, so please stay tuned!

I had so much fun in this conference, not to mention making a few more new friends. I also met again with two of my fellow speakers, Melissa Ong and Chew Hoong Ling. We spoke at another conference last year, also in March. It's really great to bump into them again exactly a year later. I sure hope we will cross path again in the future.

Oh yes, before I go (it's time to snooze), I would like to share with you my presentation slides. Please feel free to download it here (in MS PowerPoint) or here (in PDF). I hope you'll enjoy it and find it useful. Here's THE SCOOP.

P/S: I have another upcoming invitation to speak in another conference and that's going to happen in May! More about that at a later stage.

Book Talk

"Books give us pleasure not because they make us comfortable, though some good ones may, but because they entertain us, they make us laugh, they make us cry; they inform, persuade, disturb, convince, seduce us; they make us think, speculate, see - and we recognize what we see as true, not as the truth but as a truth in the writer's fabulous construction that corresponds to what we have observed in ourselves, or others, or in the world at large, or can conceive of observing."
