Mailbox Monday

This meme is hosted by Marcia at The Printed Page. Last week, I received my Christian fiction books from one of my favorite online booksellers, Christianbook.com. I got a good bargain and paid US$37.89 for 14 books, including shipping costs! I love the covers. Below are the books that arrived in my office in a big box:

Priced to Move (Shop-Til-U-Drop Series #1). Gemologist Andie Adams is suffering a bad case of burnout in her stress-filled job in New York. So she jumps at the chance to ditch her wormy corner of the Big Apple for a home in Kentucky with her lovable but off-the-wall Aunt Weeby. After all, things should be slower paced in Kentucky--right? Wrong. Andie reluctantly joins the Shop-Til-U-Drop Network as its newest jewelry and gemstone show host. Sparks fly between her and the know-nothing (but drop-dead gorgeous) jock they've hired as her cohost. And when Andie's job exposes her to a international investigation, the mayhem escalates during an exotic journey.

A Steal of a Deal (Shop-Til-U-Drop Series #2). When gemologist Andrea Adams gets a chance to go to the Kashmir region of Pakistan for a mission trip, she jumps at it. But her boss at the S.T.U.D. home shopping network wants to turn the trip into another on-location shoot for the station. That means Andreas co-host Max is part of the deal, and she isn't happy about it. When their guide turns up dead and a famous sapphire turns up in Max's possession, Andrea thinks all her worst fears are confirmed. Is this her chance to get rid of this know-nothing pretty boy? Or is Max innocent after all?

A Cut Above (Shop-Til-U-Drop Series #3). Despite her objections, Andie Adams is on her way to Colombia to broker a deal on some of the most fabulous emeralds in the world--and she's going alone. Maybe this time she can make the trip without any major drama. But before Andie can even get close to the mines, everything turns Twilight Zone weird. The guide who is supposed to meet her at the airport doesn't. Her high school Spanish goes AWOL. And her taxi driver treats her to a South American-style tour of Bogota. not for the faint of heart. But that's nothing compared to what's next...

The Wedding Caper (Bridal Mayhem Mystery Series #1).
When a $25,000 night deposit mysteriously disappears from the Clark County Savings and Loan, Annie Peterson, has reason to be concerned and to assume the role of amateur sleuth. Her husband's job at the bank makes him a potential suspect, but knowing him to be a godly man, she can't imagine it. Then again, there is that matter of the weddings to factor in. Twin daughters Brandi and Candy have just received proposals and two weddings are pending. Sure, Warren occasionally jokes about robbing the bank to pay for the ceremonies, but Annie knows him better than that. . .doesn't she?

Gone with the Groom (Bridal Mayhem Mystery Series #2). The best laid plans of brides and men go awry when Annie Peterson's future son-in-law Scott disappears. Have pre-wedding jitters caused Brandi's fiance to take flight, or are more sinister forces at work? Surely Annie can solve the riddle. But who could be behind this apparent kidnapping caper? Maybe the drug company Scott works for has hidden motives. Perhaps it's the handiwork of Otis, Scott's deceitful dad. But then again it could be the shady wedding photographer, or the "political enemies" of Scott's mother. Will Annie solve the mystery and recover the missing groom, or will she suffer "regrets only"?

Will his family come around, or does continuing his relationship with Michele mean giving up on the people he loves?
