Christmas Book Giveaway

I'm doing another book giveaway and this time I would like to send two lucky readers one brand new Christmas-themed book each for my Christmas Book Giveaway. Here's a glimpse of what you can expect in these poignant stories of faith, hope, and peace at Christmastime.

Patchwork Holiday: One Heirloom Quilt Comforts Four Couples in Search of True Love. One beautiful hand-tied patchwork quilt is the common thread linking several hearts and lives from 1943 through present day.

Bev Winters, a Second World War widow and mother, is desperate for a job. Dan Fisher, a grieving husband, needs someone to run his used toy store. When Bev goes Christmas shopping, a chance meeting may mean the beginning of love and the end of loss.

Olivia Howard has lost all but her life and the family Bible after tragedy strikes her beautiful home. Volunteer firefighter Nate Forester offers help and sympathy, but that may not be enough.

Natalie Thorsett is in desperate straits when letters to her husband Mark return "Addressee Unknown." When Natalie and the children are thrown out onto the cold and dangerous streets of Seattle, anything can happen.

Major Gavin Scott, a U.S. Air Force pilot, receives an injury that may keep him permanently grounded. His girlfriend is in love with a dashing pilot, not a fallen bird. Their future may be over before it even begins.

Simply Christmas: Two Humorous Mothers, two lonely widows, four stories of regaining Christmas peace. Four women face one decision this Christmas: Will they jump into commercialized rat race or pursue the true meaning of the holiday through a simpler approach?

When Maggie seeks a break from the mad holiday rush, her family panics. Can she create a "Christmas balance," or will her family antics drive her back to her perfectionistic, take-charge ways?

Alone for the first time at Christmas, Lorraine wants only to enjoy the peace. But when the spirit of the season comes calling, will she give up her plans to extend goodwill to those in need?

Instead of buying for Christmas, Mary Martha is selling. When a young woman responds to her ad for a dining room table, will Mary Martha see the opportunity to help a hurting soul—and heal her own in the process?

Temporarily out of work, Penny's husband suggests taking a Christmas on the road. Can she find anything to celebrate in a cramped RV with two kids, a husband, and not even a wreath?

It's very easy to be entered for the giveaway: Just leave me a comment in this post, and let me know the title you want. You can request for both (I will enter you for both titles) but you will win only one.

The closing date is Sunday, November 15 (11.59 PM, GMT +8:00) and everybody can participate. Please include your email address in your comment, so that I can contact you if you win. The draw using random.org will be announced on Monday, November 16. Good luck!

I put it up on my sidebar too - don't know how many will jump over but I thought it couldn't hurt ;-)

I think they both sounds great. Please enter me in both of your drawings. I'm almost finished with another holiday book called "Cancel Christmas" by author Rocco Leonard Martino. It raises a very important issue of tradition versus expediency and profit. I'm finding it very entertaining.

Book Talk

"Books give us pleasure not because they make us comfortable, though some good ones may, but because they entertain us, they make us laugh, they make us cry; they inform, persuade, disturb, convince, seduce us; they make us think, speculate, see - and we recognize what we see as true, not as the truth but as a truth in the writer's fabulous construction that corresponds to what we have observed in ourselves, or others, or in the world at large, or can conceive of observing."
