'Rebecca' Read-Along

Sandy Nawrot initiated a Rebecca Read-Along that starts today. I have always wanted to read Rebecca but kept putting it on hold, so I jumped on the opportunity to do so when it came along (I found out about it at Sandy's blog a few weeks ago).

The two-week reading schedule will be like this:

- Chapters 1 through 16: By October 8th
- Chapters 17 through 27: By October 15th

Sandy will be posting some questions on the 8th and the 15th, but she said it's also OK if participants post their own reviews and not use her questions. I'm going to try to do both. Read about it here.

  2. I did want to join this as I plan to read Rebecca in the next couple of weeks. Unfortunately I am going to be away at the end of it so I will miss all the questions. I hope you enjoy it.

  4. I read this almost a decade ago now. Wish I could remember more of it... and stop getting it mixed up with Jane Eyre for some reason. Enjoy!

  8. I am sure I've read REBECCA a long time ago. But I wish I could remember what it was about though. If I recall correctly, I thought it was a good book. What year was this book first published?

    Hi Julia, the book was first published in 1938 (I think)... Does Manderley or Mrs Maxim de Winter ring any bells for you?
