The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

472 pages

This is the second book in the Hunger Games trilogy and here it gets even more suspenseful. The Capitol is unhappy with District 12’s victory (something happened in the first book). The year of victory coincides with the Quarter Quell, “a glorified version of the games,” which happens on every twenty-fifth anniversary of the games. The Capitol jumps on the chance for revenge: The tributes are chosen from its existing pool of victors! Do watch out for the plot twist toward the end. It’s suspenseful that I literally tuned out everything else while reading it. I want the last book!
