BBAW 2009: Celebrate Books, Celebrate Book Bloggers! (AND, Book Giveaway)

I am totally new to BBAW and am still a little fuzzy about the whole concept. Still, I was ecstatic when I was informed of my nomination last month under the category Most Eclectic Taste. Although I didn’t make it into the shortlist, I still want to thank all of you for your support! Now, there are two parts to this post: Part One is about blog love and Part Two is about my book giveaway.

PART ONE: Blog Love

I am very happy to see that my humble blog is appreciated by Vivienne of Serendipity and a fellow Malaysian blogger, Natasha of Ulat Buku in the City—my sincerest thanks to both of you for the recognition! Here's what Viv and Natasha said:

Alice is not just a book blogger, she is one fantastic photographer. Alice creates a mixture of reviews and photography on her blog. One of the first people to welcome me to the book blogging world. - Vivienne

The only other Malaysian book review bloggers (the other blogger is Betty) that I constantly keep in contact with. Alice provides great book reviews and has an eye for photography. - Natasha

I also want to acknowledge my favorite Top 5 Book Blogs that didn’t make it into the BBAW list, but are my must-visit blogs:
  1. Melody’s Reading Corner
  2. Musings of a Bookish Kitty
  3. Peeking between the Pages
  4. Serendipity
  5. Violet Crush
If your blog is not listed here, it doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate your blog, but it is because I had to narrow it down to the Top 5. It may also mean that you are already shortlisted as a BBAW finalist (congratulations!) and possibly award winner (congratulations again!).
