More Bloggie Love...

Last month, I was thrilled to receive the Heartfelt Award from Natalie of The Book Inn. I would like to pass this award back to you, Natalie--thank you! This is the second time I received it because earlier May this year, Melody gave it to me.

About this award: Do you reach for a cup of cocoa or tea when you’re relaxing, seeking comfort, sharing a plate of cookies with family & friends? You know that feeling you get when you drink a yummy cup of cocoa, tea ~ or a hot toddy? That is what the Heartfelt award is all about feeling warm inside.

Just a few days ago, I received the Circle of Friends Award from Renee of A Path of Joy. Thank you so much for thinking of me and for considering me your friend. *Hugs* I have been visiting Renee's blog for quite some time and I really enjoy reading about her family.

Whether or not you post awards on your blog, I just want to let you know that I really appreciate your friendship, so this is for you:
  1. Melody of Melody's Reading Corner
  2. Julia of Julia's Books Corner
  3. Nymeth of Things Mean A Lot
  4. Wendy of Musings of a Bookish Kitty
  5. Naida of The Bookworm
  6. Vivienne of Serendipity
  7. Barbara H. of Stray Thoughts

Book Talk

"Books give us pleasure not because they make us comfortable, though some good ones may, but because they entertain us, they make us laugh, they make us cry; they inform, persuade, disturb, convince, seduce us; they make us think, speculate, see - and we recognize what we see as true, not as the truth but as a truth in the writer's fabulous construction that corresponds to what we have observed in ourselves, or others, or in the world at large, or can conceive of observing."

- William McPherson
