Team Madagascar models for the AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D lens

I've got a new camera lens today, the AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D, and immediately launched into a test shot session during lunch. My colleague Michelle rounded up all her Madagascar characters and one-by-one I took their photos.

My camera body is Nikon D40 and when used with the 50mm lens, I need to go manual, which is fine by me. It's lightweight and feels plasticky, but still takes good pictures. For a few hundred Ringgits, I am not complaining. One thing, though, is that it requires some degree of force to twist on to the camera body. At first I thought it was my incompetency but after reading this minor problem in so many other user reviews, I knew I'm OK.

And now, I present you Team Madagascar, all taken using the 50mm lens on manual!
