More Awards! (And lunch at Hanazen Japanese Restaurant, Jaya One)

"You Don't Say?" Super Comments Award

I would like to thank Melody of Melody's Reading Corner for passing on this award to me! The panda is cute and the little bird makes it even more cheerful. Melody, you are also a wonderful commenter and seeing you at my blog regularly really makes my day -- thank you! I would like to pass this award back to you.

About this award: "We give and get awards for having a great blog and being a good friend. What I want to award is those people whose comments have meant THE WORLD to me. It takes time to visit a blog and leave a comment ... I wanted to recognize some special bloggers whose comments have made such an impact on me. The “You Don’t Say?” Award is awarded to these special bloggers in hopes that they will pass the award along to 5-10 of their best commenters!"

And now I pass it on to the following wonderful bloggers who are always here for me, rain or shine. Thank you, friends!

  1. Julia of Julia's Books Corner
  2. Nymeth of Things Mean A Lot
  3. Wendy of Musings of a Bookish Kitty
  4. Naida of The Bookworm
  5. Viv of Serendipity
  6. Jen of Up Close & Personal with LadyTink
  7. Rachel of Heart of Rachel
  8. Flo of Where Thoughts Take Wings

When Naida of The Bookworm gave me and a few other blogger friends this cute customized award, I was elated. The cute doggie is none other than her very own chihuahua, Diego! He is such a darling and so is his owner! Thank you very much for sharing Diego with us, Naida!

I do think that everybody who reads my blog and happens to be a blogger deserves this award. All of you are wonderful!

Heartfelt Award

Once again, Melody has passed on an award to me. Thank you, Melody! You've made my Monday special and I'm definitely passing this back to you because the feeling is mutual.

About this award: Do you reach for a cup of cocoa or tea when you’re relaxing, seeking comfort, sharing a plate of cookies with family & friends? You know that feeling you get when you drink a yummy cup of cocoa, tea ~ or a hot toddy? That is what the Heartfelt award is all about feeling warm inside.

  1. Put the logo on your blog/post.
  2. Nominate up to 9 blogs which make you feel comfy or warm inside.
  3. Be sure to link to your nominees within your post.
  4. Let them know that they have been nominated by commenting on their blog.
  5. Remember to link to the person from whom you received your award.

I'm going to pass it on to everybody who visits me here. It's very hard to pick and choose because all of you make me feel warm inside.

  19. I'll never go back to this place ever! Ordered a Unagi Avocado Maki, and it came without avocado. When I highlighted this, they told me they ran out of avocado and replaced it with cucumber instead. And the price would be the same! And they even had the cheek to say that the price would also be the same if there's no replacement. How unscrouplous!!!

  20. Hi Anonymous, I'm sorry to hear about your negative experience at the restaurant. That's really not right for the restaurant to do that. I guess, the right thing to do (at least) is to highlight to the diner that the item they ordered is not available and perhaps can be replaced by another order.
