I'm moving on!

Time flies and in the blink of an eye, it is now February! January has been an exciting month and Chinese New Year was just celebrated a week ago (it will continue to be celebrated for another week or so).

February 2 will mark the exciting beginning for my job as I move on to the chairman's office to a more challenging administrative role. I am expecting a learning curve at the beginning of this new assignment, and there is so much to learn and to master on the run. I am excited and terrified, wondering whether or not I could handle it adequately. But I suppose this is normal because we only feel this way when we truly care about what we do. I know I felt this way each time I took on something new, and I had the same feeling when I joined this company more than one and half years ago.

I hope that for my new job, I would blossom and flourish as beautifully as the flowers I found on this tree, a few houses away from mine

As a final note, I love my job, I love what I do at work and I am certainly having fun despite all the stress and challenges that come with it. The people you work with--your colleagues--certainly makes a lot of difference too. Happy working!
