Dinner @ SushiGroove, Sunway Pyramid

Irene, PS and I went to Sunway Pyramid for a shopping-and-dinner outing on a pre-Valentine's Friday night after work. We popped all the way up to the top-most floor of the parking lot. Yep, it was that full. We stayed until 10.00 pm and jammed all the way down again.

Filling our tummies was the most important agenda of that night, so we discussed where to eat--first in the middle of the mall's passage way, and then moved to the side when people started casting looks at us--before we go shopping. We referred to the directory for inspiration but was still quite stucked. We reviewed all the options and settled for SushiGroove, a trendy and casual sushi bar restaurant that serves fusion sushi, so off we went.

My ebi don buri
The interesting Godzilla Roll that we shared
A different kind of California Roll wrapped with salmon, which we also shared. The middle bit was spicy but was quite nice.

The bill came to about MYR95 (US$26). The food is OK with interesting concepts, but I still prefer restaurants such as Rakuzen for Japanese food. I'm not a big fan, though.
