Tenji Japanese Buffet @ SohoKL, Solaris

Pauline, Az, Soraya and yours truly were so looking forward to this day of lunch at Tenji, SohoKL, Solaris Mont Kiara. We went there last Friday and took advantage of the CNY's Luncheon Promo which is MYR49.90+ per pax (no time limit) that started on January 16 and will end on Sunday, February 15. It was worth every dollar we spent.

As we enter the restaurant, we saw this notification (now outdated) that the lunch sessions were all fully booked until January 18. The business is that good.

After paying for the bill, the waitress led us into the restaurant and we passed through the outdoor dining area. It was a breezy day. I started going around with my camera. At first, it felt kind of weird doing that because everybody was busy taking food, but I was taking photos. Eventually I felt at home and it began to feel natural snapping away discreetly without bothering other customers. I didn't attack this section until the very end, but unfortunately by the time I tucked into the other goodies, I was too full to enjoy the desserts. I took the green tea and coffee/chocolate cheesecakes respectively. I noticed another lady customer took the same thing too while we were at the coffee station making our cuppa. I made my cappucinoTheir ice cream is a must-have. The one I made below was a combination of lemon sorbet, raspberry and coffee (not visible in photo). The queue for this was quite long. There were lots of puddings but I didn't take any. My tummy simply had no space to take in more. I shall, however, try them on my next trip there! The vegetable pizza tasted fabulous. I love it!There's a popcorn station too! We were provided with classic paper cones for the popcorn. The popcorn tasted great and was much better than the ones sold at the cinemas. Food that'll make your mouth water! Sushis and sashimisYou can request for the chef to cook stuff for you. Just pick your raw materials! Now approaching the chocolate fountain section...And here's the yummylicious choc fountain! (It reminds me of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory)
I dipped the fruit skewer into the flowing choc...
And voila! I love the chocolate which was not too sweet (almost bittersweet) and it went well with the fruits. Thirsty? The must-have baby coconuts. Refreshing and sweet! There're other juices as well, so don't miss out! Food, food and MORE food!
There were dim sum too!
Some of the stuff that we piled onto our plates

This is one of my longest food post ever! I hope you've enjoyed it as much as I've enjoyed salivating over them while writing this. There were so much more food I wish I could post them all here. Before I end, I'd like to highlight their CNY dinner promotion: MYR88+ from now until 15 February 2009, and for every two diners, a RM50 discount voucher is given for immediate use. I suggest visiting their website for all the latest promos.
