Upcoming Mini Vacation in Genting Highlands

My two girlfriends and I have in mind to go up to Genting Highlands, spend a few nights there and do our thing. As to how many nights, we have yet to decide. One of the things I have in mind to do is to hold a ‘read-a-thon’. It’d be interesting to see how many books I could read in the span of 24 hours. I hope the two ladies will join in the fun too.

I have picked out the following titles from my personal library:

  1. THE BOOK OF BALLADS by Charles Vess (192 pages)
  2. THE LAND OF LAUGHS by Jonathan Carroll (256 pages)
  3. SPECIAL OF THE DAY by Elaine Fox (384 pages)

I will also bring the following titles from the Chesapeake Bay Saga by Nora Roberts as alternates:

  1. INNER HARBOR (Book 3 – 352 pages)
  2. CHESAPEAKE BLUE (Book 4 – 368 pages)

As you can see, these are fun reads—nothing too serious and heavy.

I hope I will not be too stoned to do anything else for the rest of the days there. For sure my darling camera will be following me up as well! The only thing pending now is to determine the dates and apply for time off from work. *GRIN*
