More Random Office Meme

Continuing from my first random office meme back in July this year, here's another show-and-tell. The July post was done when I was located at the 21st Floor. Now that I'd relocated to the 22nd Floor, it's time to make some new 'history'. Hehe...

As usual, my see-no-evil cat will follow me wherever I go. The latest addition to my CPU 'wall' is the BookCrossing postcard (I love it!) showing where The Jungle Book, War and Peace, The Cat Who Went to Heaven, and Dracula are read and by whom. I particularly like the Dracula one. I also like the BC "WELCOME!" car sticker. Welcome to my workstation!
My name is almost synonymous with Starbucks so when boss went to Seattle, US he brought back this Starbucks Pike Place giant mug for me. What a cool mug for some hot stuff! Here's the scoop.
And then he went to Sorrento, Italy and brought back some juice. Reading from the label, the ingredients of il Limoncello are fresh lemon from Sorrento (naturally), sugar and pure alcohol. The juice has a 30% alcohol content.
I need to re-stock my supply of Mentos soon. I buy sticks of them and refill them into this Mentos container. It was initially filled with its yogurt-flavoured variety but after that I recycled it with others.
Left only TWO! Time to go Mentos shopping...

  1. I love that mug Alice, it's very cool. I am not an avid fan of Starbucks, first, we don't have it here in our city, next, all items for sale are so much expensive. But i do enjoy the freebies they give out. My cousin in HK loves to send them out to me!

  5. Thanks, Sheng! That mug is one of my prized mugs now. Anything Starbucks are for keeps. I even keep the paperbags the outlets used for to-gos. Freebies? Wow, that's so nice of your cousin to send them to you! Envy, envy... hehee...

    Andrew, Andrew! I bought the see-no-evil cat at Jusco 1 Utama. You can unclapse and take the paws away from its face. The paws have magnets... :D

  7. The "See-No-Evil Cat is so darn cute! I love it! I also adore THE JUNGLE BOOK too. Many things can happen in the jungle, where H/h are concern...great action and love of intense momment can happen LOL!

    I'm sorry, I know you have tagged me long months ago to show off my office space meme. And I never done it. Just never had the times back then. :( But I truly enjoy seeing your random office meme :)

The kitty is really cute and when I'm stumped at work, I usually fidget with it (clasp and unclasp the paws, wave the paw around, talk to it...) I hope this doesn't freak you and others out.   20. hey Alice...i'm thinking of visiting Starbucks more often to do my work when i'm in between appointments. I got meself a new laptop and am scouting for a place with free wifi, food and air-conditioning.

    I would like to know the benefits that Starbucks give...like what are the advantages if u bring ur Starbucks mug...free refills or what? Would be good if can spend less and work more!

    Any other place that u know which has free wifi?

  22. Hi Flo, congrats on being the owner of a new laptop! I think Starbucks is a cool place to do that. 1 Utama New Wing also offer free Wi-Fi, so you might want to use their facility. Don't have to buy anything or spend money when you don't want to.

    As for the Starbucks mug benefits, you can get RM1 discount for the price of beverage you are buying. I think that's about it. I usually bring my Starbucks thermos for this purpose. I can't buy the big ones though because of the size of container.

  24. I ventured out on my first Starbucks experience...at KL Sentral yesterday. It was REALLY cool.. I got myself a Mango Passion Fruit drink so that not so obvious the main reason i go there is for the wifi. You mean i can go in to Starbucks and sit there for hours using their free facility WITHOUT having to get anything? Feels kinda "paiseh" *Asian mentality*
