Book Tag: Seven Random Book Facts (AND, the one and only Indiana Jones)

I've just finished watching Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark and oh my, Professor Jones (Harrison Ford) looks delectable in his geeky glasses and bow tie. See him work the whip. So very nice.

I bought the set of DVDs at There are three movies in the collection: The Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Temple of Doom, and The Last Crusade. The DVD quality is fantastic with clear pictures and sounds.

And now for the book tag...

Sally from Book Critiques has tagged me. (I love book tags or memes!)

The rules are:
  1. Link to the person who tagged you and post the rules on your blog.
  2. Share seven random and/or weird book facts about yourself.
  3. Tag seven random people at the end of your post, and include links to their blogs.
  4. Let each person know that they've been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
Alice's seven random book facts (RBF):
RBF No. 1: My love for books was discovered by accident. I am not a booklover by birth (I was quite a vainpot prefering instead to play with dolls, wearing pretty dresses, and pretending to answer the phone). I picked up my first Enid Blyton story book in primary school and the rest was history. The Famous Five turned me into a bookworm.
RBF No. 2: I was rejected by my school when I volunteered to be a librarian. Why they rejected me I was never able to fathom. I love books, I read like mad and yet they rejected me. Weird but true. So I had to be happy with just being a loyal visitor to the library and an unofficial 'busybody' when the other students need help with finding books.
RBF No. 3: I love to read series, trilogies, tetralogies--you name it. Even if I have not read the author before, I'd still get the entire series if I should read anything by him or her. Case in point: Colleen Gleason's The Gardella Vampire Chronicles. I have not touched anything by Gleason before and yet I got the entire series and finished them systematically. I'm waiting for the fifth book to be out.
RBF No. 4: Whenever I step into a bookshop, I will almost always come out with a bag of books. When I was working in KLCC, I visit Kinokuniya almost daily and each time I come out, I took a minimum of one book out from the store (of course I paid for the book!). So you could imagine how many books I buy in a month. And in case you're wondering, I do read them; they are not for display only.
RBF No. 5: I love shopping for books online!,,, Kinokuniya Malaysia,
RBF No. 6: I am still too chicken to read the classics, especially huge volumes like Leo Tolstoy's WAR AND PEACE and ANNA KARENINA; and Victor Hugo's LES MISERABLES. I have them in my TBR pile but, but, but... I will get to them one day. One day.
RBF No. 7: My books are for keeps and will never sell them (I hope I will not be forced to sell them). It was so sad when more than 20 years ago I had to sell all my books when my family relocated to another state. I hope never to part with my books again. Not until the day I return to dust.
I hope for these seven friends to play along:
