Alice joins BookCrossing!

I'm officially a BookCrosser! I bought some items from BookCrossing's Supply Store totalling US$32.85 (~MYR115), and for that I gained free membership to its Members Plus Program (I have a pair of wings!) and free shipping for the stuff I bought: Tiny stickers (US$3.95), T-shirt (US$19.95), Clearance Pack (US$5), Postcard (US$1), and Pencils (US$2.95 for 5).

My screen name is aliceteh and if you're a BookCrosser, I would love to be your friend. Please feel free to add me (I'm still trying to figure out how to do this).

I’m looking forward to registering my books. I will spend some time understanding the system and how things work at BookCrossing. Apart from this, I’m also a lifetime member of LibraryThing and have been a member since March 2007.

From the web site: BookCrossing is earth-friendly, and gives you a way to share your books, clear your shelves, and conserve precious resources at the same time. Through our own unique method of recycling reads, BookCrossers give life to books. A book registered on BookCrossing is ready for adventure.

Leave it on a park bench, a coffee shop, at a hotel on vacation. Share it with a friend or tuck it onto a bookshelf at the gym -- anywhere it might find a new reader! What happens next is up to fate, and we never know where our books might travel. Track the book's journey around the world as it is passed on from person to person.

P/S: I know this purchase is done immediately after my live frugally post, but I really do think this is something good.
