KL Bird Park (Part 1)

See ALL Bird Park posts.

The weather yesterday was fantastic and I thank God for that. It has been raining the past few days and also today so when we were blessed with a sunny Saturday, we were very happy. Ray and I were at the bird park from 11 AM-ish until about 4.30 PM. Here are more photos for your enjoyment. I hope you'll like them.

The adorable sun conure
(We were treated to the lovely sight of colourful sun conures and lovebirds upon entering the main entrance.)
"Honey, I'm home!"
(A pair of lovebirds. The
one had just 'landed' and the orange one came out to welcome.)
A pair of sun conures
Other visitors joined us shortly. (Can you see the same pair of sun conures in the background? They were perching on the gate to the other section.)
We went inside.
Getting ready to jump
And landed nicely
This is one cheerful fellow. There are lots more photos of this charming white bird in Facebook.
Photo session
Naughty bird pulling the pretty girl's hair
Striking green and very pretty
Fake bird alert!
(It's actually a rubbish bin and there were lots of them to be found in the park.)
"Here birdy, birdy..."
"We're taking a walk - stop following us, OK?"
(Synchronised steps: Right then left. Birds enjoy morning walks too.)
The great hornbill
"Why, hello there, missy? What are you doing down there? Come join me here!" the guy up there beckoned.
Ray in action trying to shoot the owl (the same owl I shot and posted in my previous post)
Someone dropped his or her feather...

 Lots of signages like these
"I'm a beautiful pelican"
Bird poo on me jeans
(Ray wasn't so lucky because he got it worst than I did - the bird pooed right on top of him, soiling his white t-shirt and backpack and I believe some on his face too...)
Love the sound of water
The barn owl snoozing on one leg!
(I saw flamingoes doing the same too)
"I'm a buffy-fish owl. What are you?"
(Look at those piercing eyes! By the way, I love the 'hairstyle'...)
A dove, I think, with beard on its face
Please don't forget to check out the other photos at Facebook. I took lots of shots and it's challenging to pick out the ones to be uploaded here and Facebook. Haha. Thank you for visiting!
