Lunch @ Pasta de Gohan

It’s Friday! It’s Friday! It’s also happy lunch day because we get a 2-hour break. The gang brainstormed and decided upon Pasta de Gohan for the makan-makan. PS drove again and together, we – Irene, PS, Ms Kang and Yours Truly – arrived at Sunway Pyramid, spent quite a bit of time searching for a parking space, going several levels in the carpark... It’s amazing to see how packed the parking lots were.

Anyway, we found Pasta de Gohan, studied the menu with the waitress hawking over us while we (or at least, I) frantically trying to decide what to eat without looking rushed. As our meals were finished at various stages, the waitresses cleared our plates and stuff with such great efficiency, it was ‘amazing’. By the time we paid the bill and left, the table was squeaky clean. The bill came up to about MYR125 (~USD38) for four persons. Not a cheap place to dine, the food was OK, and the portion is tiny.

We were here

My fresh grapefruit juice

My fried rice with succulent prawns

Irene's set lunch (RM33.80)

PS's gratin side dish

Pasta de Gohan is hiring

PS treated us to bubble tea drinks after lunch. As usual, I chose the delicious cappuccino flavour. Thank you, PS!
