Of Indiana Jones, Yogitree and Borders

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Mom, Michael and I went to the Signatures GSC at The Gardens, Mid Valley City to catch Indy. The movie was great and at 66, Harrison Ford is still a bouncing baby. For a synopsis of the story, please visit the official Indiana Jones website. I think I want to watch all the past Indiana Jones movies just for the fun of it.

Books @ Borders & Healthy Lunch @ Yogitree

By the time we were done with Indy at 2.00 PM, it's time for lunch but before that we ended up in Borders first. Must... buy... books... So with the "3 for 2" promotion, these are my latest acquisitions:

  1. The Quickie by James Patterson with Michael Ledwidge
  2. A Long Way Gone: Memoirs of a Boy Soldier by Ishmael Beah
  3. The Children of Hurin by J.R.R. Tolkien
Total damage: RM86.80 (USD$26)

Now for some healthy food fare, let's go to Yogitree for organic goodies. It's a little bit on the pricey side but the food is delicious!

This is the exterior of the restaurant
It has a yoga boutique too. I love viewing the asana posters as I walk around the boutique and taking in the wonderful smell of the scented candles and lovely yoga togs. I'm inspired to take up yoga once again since I stopped practicing it for the past few months.
The front cover of the menu. For the complete menu, check this out.
I'm ready to tuck in to my food...
Here comes my brown rice fried beehoon
Mom's brown rice mee siam
Michael's brown rice nasi lemak
The garlic bread that we share
