Meme: Page 123 (yet another time...)

Once again, I'm thrilled that Renee from 2 Peas in Pod has thought of me and tagged me for this meme (thanks, Renee!). I've done it before (tagged by Melody and Sam) but am happy to do it as many times as needed. As usual, here are the rules:

  1. Pick up the nearest book.
  2. Open to page 123.
  3. Find the fifth sentence.
  4. Post the next three sentences.
  5. Tag five people, and acknowledge who tagged you.

This time coincidentally, I am reading Nora Roberts and the novel I'm currently enjoying is Rising Tides (second instalment of the Chesapeake Bay series). This series come highly recommended by a great blogger friend, Julia of Julia's Books Corner. Here goes:

The trouble was that Foolish would race back to you with the ball, then expect you to play tug-of-war for it.

You can probably guess from the sentence that Foolish is a pooch. Actually he's a very cute puppy.

I am experiencing a very slow Sunday and truth be told, feeling a little down. I have no mood to read, no mood to study, and no mood to do anything. So I spent time fidgeting with FaceBook and just 'waste' away time.

I also tried to figure out how to stop buying more books. I knew that if I impose too harsh a limitation on myself, I'd go crazy on a rampant buying spree. It has happened before and will definitely happen again. So I thought to myself, since I am studying, I reckon I'd probably have less time for leisure reading and occupy myself that way. THAT is probably the reason I'm feeling down. Temptation is not temptation if it is not wrecking havoc with your system. I have to get over this.
