I'm BACK!

It's good to be back home and enjoying the rest of the sunny Sunday afternoon. I'm glad to say that the event went well. *GRIN*

It's not all work and no play. After finishing our work on the first night, my colleagues and I went for a massage. I treated myself to a 30-minute shoulder massage. The lady did a fine job -- my head, shoulder and lower back felt so much better after that. Seeing my friend 'enjoy' her leg reflexology, I was tempted to try it out too. So that's another 30 minutes on both feet, and was the first time I tried it. It felt ticklish in the beginning but then I got the hang of it.

I also took a walk around the resort and didn't have much time to take lots of pictures but I took the one below using my own camera (Canon). The view was lovely. Since I was the 'official photographer', I get to use the company's Nikon DSLR camera -- so much fun!

I'll write more later. Now it's time for lunch!... Be right back.

  2. I love that picture of the bridge! I think I've seen something similar at a zoo or something. Very nice either way!

  3. Welcome back Alice!

I just got back from a 30-minute walk around the village. It feels good. I'm just trying to cool down before going to the shower. I've been walking (30-45 min./day) for 3 consecutive days now and it feels wonderful to have some good exercise. I haven't been going to the gym and I'm glad my hubby encouraged me to try brisk walking.

Glad to know the event was successful.

That massage surely looks very relaxing. That's a nice glimpse of the resort. It looks like a lovely place to unwind.

  4. Hey Jen! I missed you! The place is lovely. Cool and nice... Since it's not really that high up compared to the previous hotel also at Genting, it's quite sunny at noon and only gets cooler at night.

Hi Jen (ladytink), I love it too. I just couldn't resist taking a shot despite running around with work.

Hi Rachel! Glad to hear you're exercising and enjoyed it. It's always nice to sweat it out. The feeling is just wonderful. :)

  8. Malaysia waits for you, Rhinoa. Please come, please come...

Thanks, Julia! I wanted to go for another session the following day but alas, there was no time...

Hi Melody, I think the trip was lovely. It's not as taxing as the previous one (larger scale). The participants were a fun lot. They're very sporting with the karaoke session and all. :D
