Thank you so very much for this award, Melody! You're so sweet and thoughtful and the blogosphere is so lucky to have you. Well, I'm lucky to have you (and Julia!) as my friends. I like your blog very much and more so, the person behind it. *Smile*
Melody received the award from Wendy of Musings of a Bookish Kitty and has so kindly passed it on to her friends. Once again, thank you very much!

It's been another crazy day in the office but I'm happy. I think I have recovered from the mood swing. It was indeed that time of the month and my lower back is still aching... I nearly missed lunch again today, but managed to 'transit' to the cafeteria (10 minutes was all but something is better than nothing) while on the way to finish some business on another floor. I'm taking efficiency to the next level. Hahaha.
Anyway, will take things one step at a time. All things will come to pass - good and bad. While I'm praying more (I try to), I will also sing Bob Marley's "Don't Worry, Be Happy"...

Am having guilty thoughts of NaNoWriMo. I haven't been writing for the last few days and my word quota has increased to a whopping... 20,000 words! And I'm stalled at 4,022. *smacks self on the head*
Putting things off (especially writing) and diverting from the original plan seem to be my negative habits of the moment. Must break these habits and tune in to Channel P, The Good Thoughts Station. (P for positive)
Have a good day, everyone!
Congratulations Alice on another great recognition.
ReplyDeleteWishing you better days ahead. Take care!
Many thanks, Rachel! You have a good day too. God bless!
ReplyDeleteHi Alice, I just went back to the post where you talked about the mood swing. All of those you listed can affect mood, and I am wondering if the lack of the exercise you're used to has affected your lower back -- maybe not causing the aching, but making it stay longer. I don't know -- just guessing. But I hope you can find some ways to eat healthier and get some exercise back into your routine -- and find a good coffee place. :)
ReplyDeleteHaving "that time of month" get over definitely helps. too. Sometimes I think I ought to be locked in my room (with a good book, of course) for the good of everyone around me those days.
Aww Alice - I'm lucky to have you as friend too :) Congrats on the award, it well deserved :)
ReplyDeleteWell...am glad that your mood was because it that time of the month. Otherwise I would have been worry about you than....
About the Nano thing - I know you CAN do it...you CAN do it...you CAN do it.... :)a
It's a well earned award, Alice! I am glad you are feeling better. I think getting back into your regular exercise routine might help, even with those times of month that we all love. :-S
ReplyDeleteYou well deserved the award, Alice! I'm glad to hear you're feeling much better today... and congrats on the whooping wordcount for the NaNo, there you go girl! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Barbara, thanks for your thoughts. I'm already starting my exercise regime today and am pleased how good I felt. Will work on the food and coffee bit. :)
ReplyDeleteLOL on the locked-in-room-with-book bit. Why didn't I think of that. That's a good way to stay out of people's way and biting someone's head off. Good thinking!
Hey Julia! You always make me beam...
Thank you, Wendy! Getting back into exercise definitely helps. I finally got my reluctant butt to move. You know, the tired excuse of being tired, no time, bla bla. "Just do it" is the best policy. Not sure about loving 'that time of the month' though. LOLOL.
Hi Melody! Why, thanks again! Actually, I haven't done much for NaNo. It's whopping wordcount that I didn't manage to do. LOL. Now, God help me...
