Microsoft Office Day

It's been a long time since I last attended any Microsoft Office training. Today's my lucky day and indeed I am, in many ways. Microsoft Office Day is a whole-day training program on MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. I sat in for all the sessions. Even though they're basic stuff but still, a great refresher.

I received goodies such as a Microsoft Office Day bright orange lanyard (upon signing in at the registration counter); notepad (for answering a quiz correctly -- I got a question on shortcuts commands); and a note holder that you can rotate to show 'Approved', 'Comment', 'Call Back', and 'Urgent' (for asking questions during one of the sessions). Happy me...

And that's not all, I also bought a full suite of Microsoft Office 2007 for RM50 ONLY. Only limited units are available. This is part of the benefit for being a staff of my company. This is just wonderful because my new laptop is in (desperate) need of these Office Applications. I almost bought the Home Edition for hundreds of Ringgit from a PC retail store. Thank goodness I waited and it's worth it! *GRIN*
