This week's question
I said in August, when we talked about fan mail, that I planned on expanding that to live meetings when the time was right. Well, that time is now!
- Have you ever met one of your favorite authors? Gotten their autograph?
- How about an author you felt only so-so about, but got their autograph anyway? Like, say, at a book-signing a friend dragged you to?
- How about stumbling across a book signing or reading and being so captivated, you bought the book?
My answer for this week's BTT is NO... I've not done any of the above. I wish my friends would drag me to a book-signing ceremony though. I really don't mind.

ReplyDeleteFortunately I live 20 mins away from Toronto and a lot of authors visit the city for book signings or simply to talk about their books, so, yes, I have had the good fortune to meet quite a few authors, but I have yet to meet my most favorite one...M G Vassanji. I was supposed to go to a reading of his last week but I had a rotten cold so I couldn't go. Next time perhaps.
And like Wendy said, if you visit us in North America Alice, we will definitely drag you to a couple of book readings/signings! :)
