BTT: Sunshine and Roses (September 20, 2007)

I just got back from Hunter Valley today and then dinner with my sister's colleagues in Manley Wharf, Sydney. I wouldn't never miss Booking Through Thursday! Yes, not even when I haven't showered... It's 11.12 pm Sydney time. Actually, this week's scenario sounds like what I'm experiencing right now though I doubt about the 'money in your pocket' bit. Sydney's beautiful and the sun is shining, the birds are singing... Anyway, here you go...

This week's question

Imagine that everything is going just swimmingly. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and all’s right with the world. You’re practically bouncing from health and have money in your pocket. The kids are playing and laughing, the puppy is chewing in the cutest possible manner on an officially-sanctioned chew toy, and in between moments of laughter for pure joy, you pick up a book to read...

What is it?

I'll probably pick up a feel-good book, say... anything by Elaine Fox. I've recently read Guys and Dogs and I like it. My sister coincidentally, has a few of Elaine Fox's books and she's lending them to me. So now I have Special of the Day and Beware of Doug. Well, actually, come to think of it, I might just pick out any title that strikes my fancy. I'm in such a good mood (hypothetically AND realistically), I can read anything!

Happy (belated) BTT, everyone!

Book Quote:

"There is a great deal of difference between an eager man who wants to read a book and a tired man who wants a book to read."
