BTT: Friendship (September 27, 2007)

I'm late for this week's Booking Through Thursday but better late than never. So here goes!...

This week's question

Buy a Friend a Book Week is October 1-7 (as well as the first weeks of January, April, and July). During this week, you’re encouraged to buy a friend a book for no good reason. Not for their birthday, not because it’s a holiday, not to cheer them up–just because it’s a book.

What book would you choose to give to a friend and why?

And, if you’re feeling generous enough–head on over to Amazon and actually send one on its way!

I will give a book based on the genre that my friend likes. Different people like different kind of books, so in order to give meaningfully, I would gauge and do my best to get him/her something that he/she will like. If I really can't figure out what to give, I'd probably just get my friend book vouchers and so he/she would have the option to get whatever he/she fancies. I know I'd be very happy if my friends give me book vouchers. *GRIN*

Happy (belated) BTT, everyone!

"For friends... do but look upon good Books: they are true friends, that will neither flatter nor dissemble."
