Another book package has arrived!

It's been a busy, busy day in the office. I left at 8.15 PM, tired but happy.

When I got home, more happy things awaited me. The Anne Stuart's Ice Series I bought from BetterWorld has finally arrived! True to its promise, my package arrived slightly two weeks after the order.

Now let me share more book joy with you!...

  2. The book covers look good! Okay, of course a story comes first when I look at the book. BUt sometimes, I do buy books to give it a try cause of its cool cover.

  3. I LOVE Anne Stuart;s historicals but I am not too fond of contemps. Truth be told I find them too full of plot holes and improvable circustances. Especially on the heroine's part because they tend to be TSTL. I HIGHLY recommend the following from her:


    A ROSE AT MIDNIGHT - my absolute fave Anne Stuart. So far I've rec this one to a lot of people and they all loved it. Here is my review.

    LORD OF DANGER - also love this one and here is my review

    TO LOVE A DARK LORD - probably Stuart's best known historical. Here is my review.

  4. I love Anne Stuart contemporary books, especially the ICE series. I have read Anne's other works and love what I read so far, except Ritual Sins is my least favorite. I can't wait to hear what you think of them!

    Hi Cmate! I'm guilty of sometimes buying books for their covers. Anyway... I can't find Anne Stuart's books (at least the Ice Series) in Malaysia -- maybe not sold here. Thank goodness for the Internet and online used booksellers. The ones I received are very new though...
