BTT: Just Wild About Harry (July 19, 2007)

This week's question

Okay, love him or loathe him, you’d have to live under a rock not to know that J.K. Rowling’s final Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, comes out on Saturday… Are you going to read it?
I'd only read up to Book 4. I am going to read the latest one, but would need to catch up from Book 5 first...

If so, right away? Or just, you know, eventually, when you get around to it? Are you attending any of the midnight parties?
Not right away, but eventually. I have almost forgotten what Book 1 is all about, so that would mean starting from Book 1 all over again.

If you’re not going to read it, why not?
I'm not particularly crazy about Harry Potter and that means I will take my own time to do so. I have in mind to read other books in my TBR pile. Harry will be taking a backseat for now until he strikes my fancy.

And, for the record… what do you think? Will Harry survive the series? What are you most looking forward to?
I sure hope Harry survives the series. I like happy ending. I don't think I would bother to read at all if I discover that Harry did not make it. As you know, HP books are so thick, I'd rather be spending time reading something else... Just my thoughts...

Happy BTT, everyone!

"There are two motives for reading a book: one, that you enjoy it; the other, that you can boast about it."
