The Silly Policies We Impose On Ourselves

Barbara has so kindly tagged me for this personal policies meme, which I had to think really hard… I will add more whenever I can think of any. Meanwhile, this is it!

I will not eat anything I can’t identify. I also don’t eat animals that can be pets such as bunnies, or unusual cuisine such as frogs’ legs (see pic of Kermit).


I must go through these pages before I begin reading a book: Contents, Preface or Introduction, and Foreword.



I will not wear skirts or dresses until my legs look prettier, or until I am ready. Don’t ask me when I’ll be ready. I just don’t know…



I will never chew with my mouth opened. This also means, I normally don’t talk if my mouth is full of stuff.


I will never wear swimsuits until I have taken care of my cellulite completely. So far, I haven’t worn any, and probably never will.



I must wrap every single book I bought. Sometimes I wrap magazines too.

    I haven't worn swimsuits in probably 25 years or more -- and probably won't. :) I have gone into the water fully clothed!

  3. The last time I wore a swimsuit, my DH said, "Wow, I guess you have gained weight."

    Guess what I no longer wear?

    Ugh.

  4. Aha, found another book lover who loves her books to be wrapped...but magazines?! LOL.

    Hmm...as for swimsuits...haven't worn it for some time! ;P

  5. Aha... I see that I have caused some confusion with the book wrapping business. LOL. I was meaning to say that whenever I buy books, I would wrap their covers with a clear plastic sheets to protect them. Just the covers. It's like what I did in my previous post...

    Nice to know that you wrap your books, Mel. :D I know it's crazy wrapping mags, but sometimes certain issues are so nice, I almost treat them as books... LOL.
