BTT: Dessert First (June 14, 2007)

This week's question

Do you cheat and peek ahead at the end of your books? Or do you resolutely read in sequence, as the author intended?

I'm a good girl, I am! I will not peek at the end of my books. Nope. I resolutely read in sequence. I even read the contents page, introduction (yes, so that I can read as the author intended), preface, foreword, about the author, etc. I'm a firm believer in systematic reading. I adopt this practice for fiction too.

And, if you don’t peek, do you ever feel tempted?

Definitely tempted. Sometimes I do a quick flip to the last page and saw ONE word... Then I return to the page where I stopped.

Happy BTT, everyone!

"It is books that are a key to the wide world; if you can't do anything else, read all that you can."
