BTT: Desperation (June 28, 2007)

This week's question

What’s the most desperate thing you’ve read because it was the only available reading material? If it was longer than a cereal box or an advertisement, did it turn out to be worth your while?

Speaking of desperation, I think it was the "DO FLUSH AFTER USE" sign found in washrooms of shopping malls. Together with the sign, there were instructions on how to use the toilet. That's good toilet-training reading material. So I guess it was worth the while. LOL.

Happy BTT, everyone!

Book Quote:

"When I read a book I seem to read it with my eyes only, but now and then I come across a passage, perhaps only a phrase, which has a meaning for me, and it becomes part of me."
