I woke up at 11.11 AM today. It's a beautiful Saturday even though I can't feel my legs (after a quite strenuous exercise at the gym). It's beautiful because God is so good!
I went to visit Aunty Poh Lin again, this time with hubby and my mom. In my
last visit, I told Aunty Poh Lin that I will be bringing my mom to visit her. She was so nice to send me an email reminder. My mom remembered too. Bless these two ladies!
We arrived at her house at almost 12.30 PM. Her son, Ishmael was at home. It's so nice to finally get to meet him. I found out that he is an avid reader too. We had a wonderful fellowship at lunch. The beef noodle soup was yummy!
Talking about books, Aunty Poh Lin introduced me to a great author, Frank E. Peretti. She said that his book
This Present Darkness is wonderful. Ishmael tried searching for it in their bookshelf which was just behind the dining table, but couldn't find it. Instead, he found
Prophet also by the same author. He reached to the top of the shelf and some books fell on top of him! I hope he's OK... I borrowed
The Scarlet Thread by Francine Rivers. Can't wait to get started.
Oh yes, I'm also very happy to receive a card from her. So very sweet of Aunty Poh Lin. The card has a lovely poodle on it.

Isn't the card lovely? When my younger sisters saw this, they love it too!
Aunty Poh Lin then told a cute story about her granddaughter. The little girl was outside the house and when she looked into the drain, she shouted "Fish! Fish!". The family didn't think much of it, and thought that she was learning to say a new word. But the little one kept shouting "Fish! FISH!" and they decided to look into the drain. True enough, there were fishes in the drain! They quickly caught the fishes and the three little fishes now reside nicely with the little girl, her mommy and daddy at home. The photo below shows more fishes caught after that. Some of them are colourful.

Visiting Aunty Poh Lin is always so wonderful. We left her place at about 2.00 PM. I can't wait for the next visit! Hehe...
