Where do you want to go for dinner?

I was tagged by Jen with this Eating Out Meme. I only eat out about twice a week with the rest of the days enjoying hubby's homecooked food. On Saturdays, I will be enjoying dinner with my family.

Here are the rules:

  • Link to the person who tagged you.
  • Include the state/province and country you’re in.
  • List your top 5 favorite places to eat locally where you are.
  • Tag 5 other people and let them know they’ve been tagged.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia -- My 5 Favourite Places to Eat Locally

Venue 1: McDonald's
Need I say more?... Note: My hubby doesn't like fast food, so McD is out of the question for him. He'll accompany me there though. He's so sweet.

Venue 2: Coffee Shop near my home
This is usually where hubby and I will go and have our dinner twice a week. The food is cheap and delicious, not to mention served very quickly too. I always look forward to the yam baskets, brussel sprouts, sizzling toufoo with egg, spinach, or fish. These are a few of the standard dishes that we order (2 dishes per visit) each time we patronize this restaurant.

Venue 3: Loong Foong
Hubby likes to go to this one. We're regulars and we get 10% discount each time we dine there. This place serves Chinese dishes.

Venue 4: Hooi Loong
My family likes to go to this one. It also serves Chinese food. Whenever we have some sort of family celebration, we will dine here. Some of the photos taken at Hooi Loong:

Venue 5: I can't think of the fifth one. I'm OK with any dining place, actually.

I do not wish to tag anyone, but please feel free to join along! Happy weekend!

I also did this meme recently and I had fun doing it. I just got hungry in the process. :)

Same here Rachel. I was thinking about all the yummy food as I type them down. LOL.

You're most welcome, Jen. Thank YOU for tagging me. :)

Hello Captain Picard, thanks for coming! You're right, Malaysians have this reputation: We live to eat! LOL. Lots of eateries everywhere, and we eat anytime of the day...

Hey, my hubby doesn't like fast food too...at least not having them too often. Bad for health, he said. Hehe.

On the other hand, I love fast food. But I try to cut down as much as I can.

I have the same thoughts too, Mel! I am a McD regular every Saturday, and usually go for their Egg McMuffin breakfast set. Now that they have increased their price, I don't think I'll be going there so often now. LOL.

Thanks for coming by, Nicole and Velverse. Both Hooi Loong and Loong Foong are in PJ. I think Hooi Loong is in Damansara Jaya and Loong Foong near Taman Mayang/Kelana Jaya.

Velverse has been in my bookmark for some time already. I'm a 'lurker'. Haha. It's so nice to see you dropping comment here. Thanks very much!

You two have a wonderful week!

Book Talk

"Books give us pleasure not because they make us comfortable, though some good ones may, but because they entertain us, they make us laugh, they make us cry; they inform, persuade, disturb, convince, seduce us; they make us think, speculate, see - and we recognize what we see as true, not as the truth but as a truth in the writer's fabulous construction that corresponds to what we have observed in ourselves, or others, or in the world at large, or can conceive of observing."
